Barisal District Police team emerged champions in the Barisal Range of the Bangladesh Police Football Championship beating Bhola Police team by 4-3 goals in tie breaker at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Captain Mohiuddin Jahangir Stadium here on Saturday.
The final match between two teams ended in a goalless in the stipulated period.
Tanveer of Bhola District Police named as best player of the tournament while Rajib Hawlader of Barisal was adjudged the man of the match.
Acting DIG of Barisal Range M Akram Hossain was the chief guest in the day’s final and later he distributed the prizes.
