Model School and College and Baptist Mission High School reached the final of Barisal District in the Islami Bank National School Football Tournament played at Barisal Sadar on Saturday.
Model SC booked a seat for the final beating Sagardi Union High School by 3-1 goals in tie-breaker as the first semifinal match between the two teams was locked in 2-2 goals in the regulation period.
In the day’s 2nd semifinal, Baptist Mission HS outplayed Chaun High School by 3-0 goals.
Earlier, in the day’s other matches, Barisal BM School beat Sagardi Union HS 2-0; Model SC defeated AK School 1-0; Baptist Mission HS trounced Noriya HS 4-0 while Chuan HS beat Mothuranatpur HS 2-0 goals.
