Baridhi Garments Limited, a Bangladeshi company, has decided to establish a readymade garments industry in Comilla Export Processing Zone, says a press release.
This company will set up their plant in 11750sq metre Standard Factory Building with 4.3million pcs production capacity of various RMG products like Jacket, Bottom and shorts.
About 3000 Bangladeshis will get employment opportunity in this factory.
An agreement to this effect was signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and Baridhi Garments Limited at BEPZA Complex in Dhaka on Monday.
Sayed Nurul Islam, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Miran Ali, Director of Baridhi Garments Limited signed a deal in this regard.
Major General Mohd Habibur Rahman Khan, ndo, psc, Executive Chairman, AKM Mahbubur Rahman, Member (Finance), Md Shawkat Nabi, Secretary, AZM Azizur Rahman, General Manager (Investment Promotion) and Nazma Binte Alamgir, General Manager (Public Relations) of BEPZA were present on the occasion.
