The BAPA Foodpro International Expo-2018 is set to begin today (Thursday) at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the city.
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed is scheduled to open the three-day exposition as the chief guest at 11am, said a press release on Wednesday.
Bangladesh Agro Processors’ Association (BAPA) and Extreme Exhibition and Event Solution Ltd are jointly organizing the 6th edition of the expo with the participation of 149 organizations from 15 countries.
Commercial expansion between domestic and international organizations as well as the introduction of domestic organizations with modern technology are the main goals of the fair, said the organizers.
The expo will remain open for all from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
