All banks in Bangladesh will be closed next Wednesday on the occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi.
Bangladesh Bank said this in a circular on Thursday.
The day of birth and death (12 Rabiul Awwal) of Great Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is celebrated by Muslims all over the world as Eid-e-Miladunnabi.
This day is a public holiday in Bangladesh. As a result, all government and private offices, courts and educational institutions remain closed on that day.
