Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) recovered the hanging body of a banker from the rooftop of a building in city’s WASA area yesterday morning.
The man was identified as Mohammad Ishak, 50, an officer of Bangladesh Krishi Bank at Madonhat Branch under Hathazari upzila, Chittagong.
On information from the locals, Khulshi police recovered the body hanging with a stairway to a water tank at the rooftop of a five-storey building at High Level Road of WASA intersection under city’s Khulshi thana.
Later, police sent the body to Chittagong Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
