Chittagong Metropolitan Police rounded up one Mrs. Mahua Hoque, a bank officer of Standard Chattered Bank for alleged stealing cash money and deceiving his husband . She was arrested following the case filed by her husband Doza Minar Chowdhury. Mahua Hoque is the Asstt. Manager of Standard Chattered Bank, Agrabad branch . Officer in-Charge of Khulsi thana Moinul Hoque confirmed the arrest of Mahua Hoque following a case filed by her husband. Police sources said Doza Chowdhury filed a cheating case against his wife for alleged stealing of Tk.87 lakh and properties worth Tk.22 lakh tactfully deceiving him .
The case was filed on Wednesday . Mahua was living with his husband at Khulsi flat house since her marriage. Sources further said Doza Chowdhury is the second husband of Mahua Hoque.
