Indian immigration police arrested a Bangladeshi man in possession of Tk4 lakh hundi money from Petrapole check post here on Thursday.
The arrestee was identified as Lokman Hossain, 40, a border man of a C&F agent and son of Abdus Samad of Kajpukur village.
Acting on secret information, a team of
Petropole immigration police arrested Lokman and recovered Tk 4 lakh hundi money from his possession in the afternoon, said Mohammad Maniruzzamna, officer-in-charge of Benapole Check Post Immigration.
Earlier, Indian Border Securiy Force (BSF) arrested Kamal Hossain, a Bangladeshi man, along with six gold bars at Petrapole check post on April 12.
