Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team reach Karachi

A 15-member Bangladesh National Women’s Cricket Team reached the Pakistani city of Karachi on Monday afternoon on a nine-day tour to play two T20I and two ODI matches against Pakistan National Eves team, all at South End Club Cricket ground in Karachi.
Earlier, Bangladesh Eves Cricket team, led by Salma Khatun, left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 1:35 pm with a hope to play a good cricket against Pakistan.
On the eve of the departure, Bangladesh captain Salma Khatun said, “We are not worried about what is happening in Pakistan. We want to play against any team. We also want to play a good cricket against Pakistan as we are inspired by our men’s cricket team who beat Pakistan at home in April-May this year.”
The Bangladesh team will start their campaign in Pakistan with the first T20 International match on September 30 and will play the 2nd and last T20I on October 1.
Touring Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team will play the two-match ODI series against their Pakistani counterpart on October 4 and 6.
