Bangladesh Women ready for Nepal test

Bangladesh National Women’s Football team will take on hosts Nepal National Women’s Football team in their second and last Group-A match of the SAFF Women’s Championship scheduled to be held today (Saturday) at Shahid Rangasala Stadium in Biratnagar, Nepal.
The match kicks off at 3 pm.
Both Bangladesh and Nepal have confirmed their semi-final spot after winning their respective group opening matches against Bhutan and today it will be a battle of group champions between the two sides.
The girls in red and green won their first match by 2-0 margin while Nepal won by 3-0 goals. This match is crucial in a sense as the result of the match will decide who will be the group champions.
Host Nepal needs only a draw while visitors Bangladesh will have to beat them to top the group. Nepal and Bangladesh has earned three points each but host side have an advantage as they have a better goal better average.
Bangladesh have been pitted in Group-A along with host Nepal and Bhutan and the Group-B consists with defending champions India, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
After the group phase matches, the top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals scheduled to be held on March 20 while the final is slated on March 22.
