Bangladesh Under-16 Women’s Football team left for China on Wednesday to play five exhibition matches there. The Bangladesh team will play three matches against China Football Association (CFA) Under-14 Football team and then they will play two matches against Shaanxi Regional Women’s team. The exhibition matches will be held from April 22 to April 26.
Bangladesh Under-16 Women’s Football team will play those exhibition matches marking the final round of the AFC Under-16 Football Championship scheduled to be held in Thailand in September 2017.
Sanjida, a player of Bangladesh Under-16 Women’s Football team said, ” I think we have given something to our country by presenting our football performance as we have got chance to play football in China. The upcoming matches will be given us experience.”
Masuda Parveen said, ” I feel very well. Though we go to China to play exhibition matches but we shall try to win all the matches. I hope that we shall earn competitive attitude after playing the matches.”
Anai Mogini said, ” We shall play for our country. I hope that we shall bring a good result from China. We have taken part in the practice sessions. Our main target will to win the matches.”
Head Coach of Bangladesh Under-16 Women’s Football team Golam Rabbani Choton said, ” My girls are spirited to get chance to play exhibition matches. They assured me to play well. Everything will be decided in the ground.”
He said, ” Our main target is to perform well in the AFC Under-16 Football Championship. Marking the Tournament, we are going to China.”
Bangladesh Under-16 Women’s Football team will return home on April 27.
