Mokh Cup Football: Bangladesh U-12 emerge ‘Plate’ champions

Bangladesh National Under-12 team emerged ‘Plate’ champions in the Super Mokh Cup Football-2015 beating CIMB-YFA of Malaysia by 3-0 goals in the final at May Bank Academy field. in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
Topu put Bangladesh ahead in the first half while Arafat and Mehedy scored one goal each in the 2nd half to earn the comfortable victory.
On completion of the Under-12 competition, Bangladesh team finished on overall 9th among 20 participating teams in both the Cup and Plate categories.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Under-13 Football team finished runners-up in the ‘Plate’ group of the Super Mokh Cup losing to Buriram United of Thailand by 1-3 goals in the final at National Sports Council Centre in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, also on Sunday.
Zihan scored the lone goal for Bangladesh U-13 team in the first half.
After the Under-13 competition, Bangladesh U-12 team finished overall 6th among the 20 teams.
Both the Bangladesh teams will return home on Monday evening by a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight. They will be given reception at the airport on their arrival.
Bangladesh Under-13 reached the final beating Croatian team Dinamo Jagreb by 3-1 goals in the semifinal while Bangladesh Under-12 team booked a seat for the final eliminating Global FC of the Philippines by 3-0 goals in the semifinal on Saturday.
Bangladesh U-12 team: Mishu (GK), Arafat (C), Rana, Rashed, Momin, Simanto, Mehedi, Sohag and Monir.
Bangladesh U-13 team: Imon, Mintu, Ridoy, Uttam, Raja, Fahim, Shahed, Atif, Rezwan, Zihan and Amit.
