A four-member Bangladesh team will take part in the 15-nation pre-qualiying round of the Junior Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Zone to be held in the Malaysian city of Kuching from March 2 to 9.
Bangladesh team comprising three players — Rubel Hossain, Kawser Ali and Mohammad Ishtiaq — and chief coach cum captain Mozahidul Haque Monty, was due to leave here for Malaysia Sunday night for Junior Davis Cup pre-qualifiers, approved by International Tennis Federation and organized by Malayisa Lawn Tennis Association.
Participating countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgistan, Laos, Lebanon, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Turkmenistan, Vietnam and Yemen.
