Bangladesh to play warm-up match in SL today

Bangladesh will play their only practice match ahead of their three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka as they take on Sri Lanka Cricket Board President XI today at P Sara Oval in Colombo.
The match will be a day-night affair, starting at 3 PM (BST).
Bangladesh had already spent two days here, engaging them in utmost practice. Ahead of the practice match, Bangladesh however got all of their players.
While Taskin Ahmed and Taijul Islam joined the side from India, Mohammad Mithun, Anamul Haque Bijoy, Farhad Reza and Sabbir Rahman who were busy with playing one-day game against Afghanistan A for Bangladesh A also joined the side on Monday.
Bangladesh however are without some of their key players in the series, which is their first series after the disappointing World Cup outing.
Skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza was ruled out from the series with a fresh hamstring injury while key player Mohammad Saifuddin was also sidelined with lower back pain.
Earlier team’s vice-captain Shakib Al Hasan and Liton Das were granted time off from the cricket for their personal affair.
Taijul Islam and Anamul Haque Bijoy came into the place of Shakib and Liton. Later Taskin Ahmed and Farhad Reza were hastily called up to replace injured Mashrafe and Saifuddin.
The first ODI is on July 26 while the second and third on July 18 and 31. All of the matches will be held in R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
