Hosts Bangladesh will start their AFC U-16 Women’s Football Championship taking on Islamic Republic of Iran in the opening match on August 27 at 6pm at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here.
Bangladesh have been placed in Group C of the AFC Under-16 Women’s Championship along with Iran, Chinese Taipei, United Arab Emirates, Kyrgyzstan and Singapore.
Bangladesh will play Singapore on August 29, Kyrgyzstan on Aug 31, Chinese Taipei on Sept 3 and United Arab Emirates on Sept 5 in the remaining group matches, all at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka.
Bangladesh Under-16 women’s team is now under residential training camp for the AFC meet.
