Staff Reporter :
As there is no any effective medicine for the treatment for coronavirus, quarantine, isolation and social distancing are the bulwarks to prevent the prevention of the virus.
However, vaccines being developed by a number of companies around the world have offered a ray of hope.
Under such circumstances, Bangladesh has announced to join the trial of vaccines.

Bangladesh will work with the UK and China if everything goes right, said sources at the Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA).
It said the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) will primarily join the clinical trial of vaccines.
Experts have underscored the need for selecting the team for the vaccine trial in an efficient manner.
Public health expert Prof Dr Be-Nazir Ahmed said if other research institutions are engaged in the production of medicines for Covid-19 alongside the IEDCR, it will yield a better outcome for the country.
