Bangladesh will become a middle income country before 2021, said Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal.
“We are hopeful that our dream of becoming a middle income country will be fulfilled before 2021,” said the minister while speaking at the launching ceremony of an economic news paper ‘Ajker Business Bangladesh’ at a city hotel on Tuesday.
Editor of the daily Mehedi Hasan presided over the programme while secretary of bank and financial institution division of the Finance Ministry Dr Eunusur Rahman, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia, Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) managing director Debashish Chakbabarty, among others, spoke on the occasion.
