Bangladesh take on Sri Lanka in SAFF U-15 Championship today

Motivated Bangladesh U-15 national football team take on Sri Lanka in their second match of the SAFF U-15 Championship scheduled to be held today (Sunday) at Kalyani Stadium in Kolkata.
The match kicks off at 12.30 pm (BST).
Earlier, Bangladesh got off to an auspicious start as they blew away Bhutan by 5-2 goals in their opening match.
While Sri Lanka defeated Bhutan by 3-2 goals in their opening match but lost to Nepal by 2-0 margin in their second match.
The two times champions Bangladesh, who beat Pakistan 3-2 in penalty shootout in the last edition’s final held in Nepal, will square off against Nepal on August 27 before meeting their last match against host India on August 29.
Five of the South Asian countries are taking part in the regional championship.
The five participating teams – defending champions Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka – are playing in the round-robin format from where the top two teams will advance to the final slated for August 31.
