Bangladesh take on Nepal today

Bangladesh Under-23 team take on visiting Nepal Under-23 team in the first match of the SS Steel International Friendly Series schedule to be held today (Tuesday) at Army Stadium at Banani.
State-owned Bangladesh Television World will telecast the match live that kicks off at 4 pm. The second friendly match between the two sides will be held on August 29 at the newly renovated Sylhet Stadium.
The Nepal football team already touched down in the city this afternoon and went to Bangladesh Krira Shikka Prothistan in Savar to stay.
The Himalaya Kingdom side hardly failed to get any time to prepare themselves for the first match.
Meanwhile, ticket selling began on Monday (today) at the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Bhaban and Bangabandhu National Stadium League Office at a cost of Taka 20.
The ticket of second match will be sold out in Sylhet district.
BFF arranged the friendly match with Nepal as a part of preparation ahead of the 17th South Asian Games in Incheon.
In the Asian Games, Bangladesh Under-23 football team pitted on group B alongside Uzbekistan, Hong Kong and SAFF Championship winners Afghanistan.
The team is expected to leave for Incheon, Korea on September 12 for the Asian Games.
