Bangladesh spin coach Herath set to miss WI tour

Bangladesh spin bowling coach Rangana Herath is set to be unavailable for the upcoming tour of West Indies (WI), scheduled to be played in June.
He has applied for leave to be with his family during the ongoing economic crisis in Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh team director Khaled Mahmud also confirmed to Cricbuzz that Herath will not be part of the touring party.
“Herath will not be available in the West Indies tour as he will be with his family,” Mahmud told Cricbuzz.
Bangladesh squad is expected to fly to the West Indies in the first week of June.
The tour will start with two-match Test series on June 16. The second Test match is slated to start on June 24 in St Lucia.
Following the Test series, the two nations will square off in three T20Is starting from July 2 with the final T20I to be played in Guyana on July 7.
The tour will end after the three-match ODI series which will start on July 10.
