‘Bangladesh role model of communal harmony’

Awami League Office Secretary and Special Assistant to Prime Minister Barrister Biplob Barua said despite the politics of religion in different parts of the world, Bangladesh has become a role model of communal harmony side by side development under the leadership of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina.
“If communal harmony is lost, Bangladesh will be defeated and its existence will also be endangered. So, this harmony must be maintained at any cost,” he added.
He said this on Friday while speaking as the guest of honour at the Shubho Kothin Chibar Danotsab on the premises of the Central Buddhist Monastery and Welfare Project in Patiya upazila.
Barrister Biplob said the politics of Sheikh Hasina is that every person of this country irrespective of creed, religion and caste will be born in this country with equal rights and dignity.
He called upon all irrespective of caste, creed and religion to work together to take Bangladesh forward smoothly.
Bhadanta Basumitra Mahathero, Principal of Shakpura Tapoban Sarvajanin Bihar, presided over the function while Vice President of Bangladesh Sangharaj Bhiku Mahasabha Shasnavaskar Bhadanta Shasnapriya Mahathero, Praggasarathi Bhadanta Pragyananda Mahathero, Chairman of Patiya Upazila Parishad Motaherul Islam Chowdhury, Mayor of Patiya Municipality Professor Harunur Rashid, among others, addressed the function as special guests.
