Staff Reporter: Bangladesh reported 3 more coronavirus deaths while new 54 cases of covid-19 positive detected in the last 24 hours, government’s health department said on Wednesday.
“The death toll reached to 20, while the infection cases are now stand at 218,” Professor Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora, Director, Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) said during a press briefing in Dhaka.
Among the new cases, 39 are in Dhaka and rest of them are from outside of the capital city. Off them 33 patients are male while 21 are female.
