Bangladesh Under-14 Girls Football reached the semifinal of the AFC U-14 Girls Regional Championship as unbeaten Group B champions crushing Bhutan 16-0 goals at the Army Physical Centre Stadium in Kathmandhu, Nepal on Wednesday.
In their first group match on Tuesday, Bangladesh played to a 1-1 draw with India, which outplayed Bhutan by 12-0 goals in their first match on Monday.
Bangladesh will play 2nd semifinal on Friday (Apr 24) against Group A runners-up Iran at 4 pm (Nepal Time) at the Dasharat Stadium while Group A champions Nepal will play the first semifinal against Group B runners-up India at 1:00 pm (Nepal Time) on the same day and same venue.
In the day’s match, Maria struck four goals in the 14th ,21st, 28th and 68th minutes, Sanjida also scored four goals in the 26th, 38th, 49th and 50th minutes, Moushumi netted three goals in the 18th,44th and 46th minutes, Marzia scored two in the 1st and 42nd minutes while Krishna, Swapna and Tuhura netted one each in the 6th 12th and 57th minutes respectively.
