Bangladesh Premier League Football to begin on June 12

Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football will begin on June 12 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS).
Professional Football League Committee of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) took this decision at a meeting of Professional Football League Committee of BFF at the BFF House on Saturday.
Senior Vice-President of BFF and Chairman of the Professional Football League Committee of BFF Abdus Salam Murshedy presided over the meeting.
A total of 12 teams will take part in the BPL Football. They are: Dhaka Abahani Limited, Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra, Saif Sporting Club Limited, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Limited, Farashganj Sporting Club, Chittagong Abahani Limited, Arambagh Krira Sangha, Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited, Brothers Union Limited, Rahmatganj MFS and Team BJMC.
The champions will be awarded Taka twenty lakh, while the runners-up will get Taka ten lakh and the participating teams will be given Taka ten lakh each as participation money.
The Committee also decided that the final of the Walton Federation Cup Football will be held at BNS on June 6. The match will kick-off at 7.30 pm.
