Envoy Group accorded a reception to Bangladesh National Women’s Football team at the conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation House on Saturday. Bangladesh National Women’s Football team became runners-up in the SAFF Women’s Championship at Siliguri in India on January 4. Bangladesh National Women’s Football team lost to India National Women’s Football team by 3-1 goals in the final.
Managing Director of Envoy Group and Senior Vice-President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Abdus Salam Murshedy accorded reception to the members of the runners-up team of the SAFF Women’s Championship. The each member of Bangladesh National Women’s Football team was awarded Taka twenty thousand cash.
President of Bangladesh Football Federation and President of South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Kazi Salahuddin, Vice-President of BFF Mohiuddin Mohi, Members of the Executive Committee of BFF Shawkat Ali Khan Jahangir, Satyajit Das Rupu, Bijon Barua, Md Iqbal Hossain, Md Fazlur Rahman Babul, Amit Khan Shuvro, Zakir Hossain Chowdhury, Chairperson of the Women’s Wing of BFF Mahfuza Akter Kiron, General Secretary of BFF Md Abu Nayeem Shohag, Technical and Strategic Director of BFF Paul Thomas Smalley, General Secretary of SAFF Anwarul Haque Helal, Head of Sports and Welfare Department of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn were present, among others. It may be mentioned that Walton Group sponsored Bangladesh National Women’s Football team in the SAFF Women’s Championship.
