Bangladesh making progress in longest version of cricket: Mushfiq

Bangladesh Test captain Mushfiqur Rahim said his side is making real progress in the longest version of cricket and proved it during the tour in Sri Lana.
He was speaking to the pressmen when Bangladesh team returned home from Sri Lanka after over a month-long series.
He said Bangladesh have improved in Test cricket, and they managed to come back and square the two-match series with the win against Sri Lanka at Colombo.
The Tigers suffered a massive 259-run defeat in the first Test at Galle, but Bangladesh fought back in the next match and eventually came out with a four wickets victory to register their ninth win in Test cricket. It was the first victory over Sri Lanka after 18 matches.
Mashrafe Mortaza, Tigers’ inspirational skipper who announced his retirement from T20Is earlier was given a perfect farewell with a 45-run victory over Sri Lanka in the second Twenty20 international in Colombo on Thursday.
The diminutive wicketkeeper about Mashrafe’s retirement said that he would miss his teammate immensely in T20 cricket in future.
