Bangladesh Kabaddi team leaves for India tomorrow

Bangladesh Kabaddi team will leave the city tomorrow for Ahmedabad of India to take part in the World Cup Kabaddi, which is scheduled to be held at Ahmedabad from October 7 to October 22.
Meizan Group is the sponsor of Bangladesh Kabaddi team.
Marking the World Cup participation, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday.
Vice-President of Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation and Manager of Bangladesh Kabaddi team Nizamuddin Chowdhury Parvez, General Secretary of Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation Nazrul Islam, Managing Director of Meizan Group Shoaib Md Asaduzzaman were present at the conference.
A total of 12 teams splitting into two groups are taking part in the World Cup Kabaddi. Reigning champions India, Bangladesh, South Korea, Australia, England, Argentina have been billed in Group A while defending runners-up Iran, Thailand, Japan, United States of America, Kenya, Poland have been placed in Group B.
Bangladesh will play against England on October 8, will face India on October 11, will meet South Korea on October 13, will take on Australia on October 17, will meet Argentina on October 19.
The two semi-finals will be taken place on October 21.
The winners of the two semi-finals will face each other in the final on October 22.
