Bangladesh Jail will face East End Boys today in the opening match of the Walton Air Conditioner First Division Volleyball League at the Volleyball Stadium. The match starts at 10.30 am. Uttara Sporting Club will meet Madartek Mitali Sangha in the day’s other match at the same venue
Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Youth and Sports Md Zahid Ahsan Russell, MP will inaugurated the volleyball meet as the chief guest while Adviser (Administration) of ATN Bangla Mir Motahar Hossain will be present with him as the special guest.
Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Don, General Secretary of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF) Ashiqur Rahman Miku and the other officials of BVF will be present at the time.
Bangladesh Volleyball Federation has arranged the 10-day long volleyball competition under auspices of Walton.
A total of seven teams will take part in the volleyball meet. They are: Bangladesh Jail, Uttara Sporting Club, Bhai Bhai Sangha, Naba Jagoroni Sangha, Shabolombi Society, Madartek Mitali Sangha and East End Boys.
