Bangladesh-India Test will begin on February 8 at Hyderabad in India.
Bangladesh made its Test debut in the year of 2000 against India at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka.
After that, India played a good number of cricket series against Bangladesh in Bangladesh. But India never invite Bangladesh to play Test match in India.
After 16 years, Cricket Control Board of India (BCCI) is agreed to stage a Test against Bangladesh.
President of BCCI Anurag Thakur confirmed this matter on Wednesday. Anurag Thakur said, ” As a top Test playing nation, it is our duty to give equal chances to the other Test playing countries. I am announced with pleasure that India will play a Test match against Bangladesh in next year’s February.”
President of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Nazmul Hassan Papon said, “The long wait for us to play a Test match on Indian soil is finally over and this is a time for celebration.”
