Sports Reporter :Highly spirited host Bangladesh will take on favourite India today in the final of the Asia Cup Twenty20 at the flood-lit Sher-e-Bangla Natiinal Cricket Stadium in Mirpur today. The high-voltage match starts at 7.30 pm at the venue. State-owned television channel Bangladesh Television and private satellite channels GTV and Maasranga Television will telecast the match live from the venue.India secured maximum eight points from four matches while Bangladesh collected six points from as many outings.Before today’s match, Bangladesh faced India two times in Twenty20 games. Of them, India won both matches.India beat Bangladesh by 25 runs in the ICC World Twenty20 at Trent Bridge in Nottingham on June 6 in 2009.Besides, India defeated Bangladesh by 45 runs in the inaugural match of the Asia Cup Twenty20 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on February 24.According to the ICC Ranking, India is the number one team in World Twenty Cricket.On the other hand, Bangladesh took the tenth position in World Twenty20 Cricket, according to the latest ICC Ranking.Before today’s match, Captain of Bangladesh team Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said, ” Ranking is not creating any extra sensation but only telling the reality. India is obviously favourite. We have no other option to think separately about them. But India have to do something special if they want to win. India have to play better than that of cricket they played against us in the inaugural match of the Asia Cup Twenty20. We shall be more attacking tomorrow (Sunday), It is clear to them.”Mashrafe said, ” It is a match like other matches. But It is a final. So, it has different flavour. We want to perform our best. We want to play that kind of cricket which we showed in the last three matches.”Indian Coach Ravi Shastri said, ” We are thinking about tomorrow’s (Sunday) as usual other matches. We have a lot of experienced players. They can control any match in any time.”Shastri said, ” We were under pressure in first ten overs in the inaugural match against Bangladesh. But at last we overcame the game.”The Indian Coach said, ” Bangladesh played really well in the last two matches. Specially the pacers of Bangladesh bowled extremely well against Pakistan.
