Bangladesh in Group-D of AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers

Bangladesh Under-23 Football team have been billed in Group-D of Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-23 Asian Cup qualifiers scheduled to be held in October 23 to October 31 in Kuwait. The other teams of Group-D are: Hosts Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan. The draw ceremony of the AFC Under-23 Asian Cup qualifiers was held in Uzbekistan on Friday.
A total of 42 teams splitting into 11 groups will take part in the AFC Under-23 Asian Cup qualifiers.
United Arab Emirates, India, Oman and Kyrgyzstan are in Group-E, while Syria, Sri Lanka, Qatar, Yemen are in Group-A, Iran, Tajikistan, Lebanon, Nepal are in Group-B, Iraq, Bahrain, Afghanistan, Maldives are in Group-C, Jordan, Palestine, Turkmenistan are in Group-F, Australia, China, Indonesia, Brunei are in Group-G, South Korea, Singapore, Timor, Philippines are in Group-H, Vietnam, Myanmar, Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei are in Group-I, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Mongolia are in Group-J, North Korea, Japan Cambodia are in Group-K.
A total of 16 teams will play in the final round, which will take place in Uzbekistan.
