The World Youth Olympics will be held at Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina from October 6 to October 18. According to the rule two countries from Asia will get chance in the Hockey Competition of World Youth Olympics. Bangladesh finished third in World Youth Hockey Qualifiers, which was held at Bangkok in April last. As per rule, the champions and the runners-up of that hockey meet will get chance in the Hockey Competition of World Youth Olympics. But the organizers are interested to give chance that team, which team finished third in Youth Hockey Qualifiers. So, Bangladesh get chance to play in the upcoming hockey meet.
India, Malaysia and Bangladesh from Asia will compete in the upcoming hockey competition.
Top twelve teams from the world youth hockey will play in the forthcoming hockey tournament.
