Bangladesh Football squad reached Maldives on Tuesday to play a FIFA friendly match against Maldives at Male, the capital city of Maldives. Bangladesh will take on Maldives tomorrow.
According to the latest FIFA rankings, Bangladesh have taken the 186th position, while Maldives have achieved 156th position.
Before taking part in the FIFA friendly football match against Maldives, a 23-member Bangladesh Football squad participated in a three-day long coaching camp under the newly appointed Head Coach of Bangladesh Football team Javier Cabrera at Bashundhara Sports Complex in the city. Earlier, the Spanish-born Head Coach picked up 23 footballers for Bangladesh Football squad after watching the matches of TVS Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football. Bangladesh Football squad will return home on March 25. Then, Bangladesh Football squad will face Mongolia in another FIFA friendly match at Sylhet District Stadium in Sylhet on March 29. Mongolia have taken the 184th position, according to the latest FIFA rankings.
