Bangladesh Under-23 Football team will face Uzbekistan Under-23 Football team today in their second match of the AFC Championship Qualifiers at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. The match kicks-off at 6.00 pm. Syria Under-23 Football team will meet India Under-23 Football team at 3.00 pm at the same venue on the same say.
Earlier, Bangladesh Under-23 Football team lost to Syria Under-23 Football team by 4-0 in their first match at the same venue on March 27.
On the other hand, Uzbekistan Under-23 Football team defeated India Under-23 Football team by 2-0 goals in their first match at the same venue on the same day.
Regarding the upcoming match, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation House on Saturday.
Head Coach of Bangladesh Under-23 Football team Lodewijk de Kruif said, “Tomorrow we will face Uzbekistan like Syria. Uzbekistan are a well organised side. We have to do better tomorrow. My boys are prepared for the tomorrow’s match. We forgot the match against Syria. We did some mistakes in yesterday’s match. We shall try to overcome from those mistakes. We should rectify us and show a better performance tomorrow.”
Head Coach of Uzbekistan Under-23 Football team Ashurmatov Bakhtiytor said, ” Bangladesh are a good team. They have good defenders. Our players adapted with the condition of this country. I believe my boys will perform well tomorrow. We shall try to play good football.”
