Bangladesh eves meet Nepal in Asian Games cricket today

Silver medalist Bangladesh woman’s cricket play their first match against Nepal in the quarter-final of the Asian Games cricket schedule to be held today at Yeonhai Cricket ground.
Bangladesh eves have been in Games village for the last five days and going through vigorous practice. However there is a forecast for a rain shower in the morning and the match scheduled to begin at 2pm (5pm).
The local weather says that the weather would be cleared by local time 3, O clock. So there is definitely a good chance match will start in due in time if it does not start then the fate of the match would be decided as per ICC rules.
Bangladesh Sri Lankan coach Gamagee said to BSS on Monday, ” We are raring to go as my girls are all fit and are looking forward to clinch the semifinal spot.
We do not have an injury and we are lucky, we had the opportunity to practice in the local conditions. I am confident that rain would not intervene in our campaign for a medal for Bangladesh.
Cricket team’s operation manager Shariful Islam said to BSS on Monday, “Our team is in good spirit and are looking forward for tomorrow’s match with great interest. We hope we will win tomorrow’s match and qualify for the semifinals. We also came to know that the pitch has been prepared by a Bangladeshi.
Khokon, pitch curator was earlier in charge of BCB is now working independently as Asian Cricket council.
Earlier Sri Lanka beat Thailand today in the first quarter-final. They will face the winner of Bangladesh Nepal tie in the first semifinals scheduled to be played on September 25 at the same venue.
