Bangladesh elected INTERPA Vice President

Bangladesh has been elected a Vice-President of the International Association of Police Academies (INTERPA) in its annual conference in the city.
The 11th annual conference of the INTERPA began in the city on Monday, said a press release issued by Police Headquarters on Tuesday. Police Staff College Bangladesh hosted the conference.
Apart from this, Qatar was elected another vice president during the INTERPA election.
Presently, 63 countries are members of the INTERPA. Its headquarters is located in Turkey, reports BSS.  
Participants of the INTERPA visited Jatiya Sangsad, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s memorial museum at Dhanmondi 32 and Rajarbagh Police Lines.

They also paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing floral wreaths at his portrait.
