The touring Bangladesh Cricket team declared their first innings making 224 for the loss of eight wickets against India-A Cricket team in the lone two-day warm-up match at Gymkhana Ground in Hyderabad on Sunday.
In reply, India-A team were at the stumps on 91 for the loss of one.
Bangladesh made a shaky start as they lost early two wickets for 44 runs.
Opener Imrul Kayes (4) was caught by Hardik Pandya off Chama Milind when Bangladesh’s score was 22.
Then Tamim Iqbal (13), the other opener was bowled out by Aniket Choudhary when Bangladesh’s total was 44.
After dismissal of Tamim, Mominul Haque (5) was caught by Ishan Kishan off Aniket Choudhary when Bangladesh’s score was 72 for the loss of three wickets.
One-down Soumya Sarkar notched up a superb 52 from 73 balls. He hit nine fours and a sixer before he was trapped leg before wicket by Shahbaz Nadeem when the visitors’ total was 89 for the loss of four wickets.
Three-down Mahmudullah Riyad (23) was caught by Priyank Panchal off Kuldeep Yadav when the tourists’ score was 113 for the loss of five wickets.
Then Mushfiqur Rahim and Sabbir Rahman built a worthy partnership. They put on together 71 runs in the sixth wicket stand before Sabbir Rahman was trapped leg before wicket by Vijay Shankar when Bangladesh’s total was 184 for the loss of six wickets.
Mushfiqur Rahim hit a captain’s knock of 58. His 106-ball innings was studded with eight fours and a six. He was caught by Rishabh Pant off Aniket Choudhary when the Tigers’ total was 206 for the loss of seven wickets.
Sabbir Rahman also shone with the willow scoring 33. He hit five fours and a six in his 68-ball knock.
Sixth-down Liton Das remained unbeaten with 23. He struck two fours and a six in his 35-ball innings.
Mehedi Hasan Miraz (0) was trapped leg before wicket by Aniket Choudhary when Bangladesh’s score was 206 for the loss of eight wickets.
Aniket Choudhary captured four wickets at the cost of 26 runs.
Chama Milind, Kuldeep Yadav, Vijay Shankar and Shahbaz Nadeem took one wicket each for 26, 32, 32 and 38 runs respectively.
Later, opener Priyank Panchal remained unbeaten with 40 while, one-down Shreyas Iyer remained unbeaten with 29.
Opener Abhinav Mukund was dismissed for 16 by Subashis Roy.
