Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) on Sunday claimed that the votes for the 11th National election in the coastal areas were held peacefully. The officials of the BCG believed that they would discharge their duties properly resulting a free, fair, neutral and peaceful election in the coastal areas. The BCG said this at a press release with the sign of Assistant Intelligence Diretor Lieutenant Commander BN Abdullah Al Maruf on Sunday. The BCG deployed 42 platoons of Coast Guard who worked as mobile and striking forces in the coastal areas. They worked mostly in Bhola, Patuakhali, Cox’s Bazar and Chattogram districts.
