Bangladesh Championship League Football to kick-off on August 6

The Marcel Bangladesh Championship League Football will kick-off on August 6 at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur.
Walton Group is the title sponsor of the competition, which is powered by Premier Bank Limited.
Regarding the upcoming football competition, the press conference, the signing ceremony and the logo un-veiling programme were held at the conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation House on Tuesday.
Senior Vice-President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) and Chairman of the Professional Football League Committee Abdus Salam Murshedy, General Secretary of BFF Md Abu Nayeem Shohag, Operative Director (Head of Sports & Welfare Department) of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, Deputy Managing Director of Premier Bank Limited Shamsuddin Chowdhury, Deputy Chairman of the Professional Football League Committee Shawkat Ali Khan Jahangir, Deputy Chairman of the Professional Football League Committee Abdur Rahim, Member of the Executive Committee of BFF Elias Hossain and Member of the Executive Committee of BFF Fazlur Rahman Babul were present on the occasion, among others.
A total of 10 teams will take part in the Marcel Bangladesh Championship League Football. They are: Feni Soccer Club, Uttar Baridhara Club, Motijheel T&T Club, Fakirerpool Youngmens Club, Agarani Bank Limited Sports Club, Police Football Club, Victoria Sporting Club, Kawranbazar Progoti Sangha, Bashundhara Kings and Noafel Sporting Club.
The champions will be awarded Taka five lakh, while the runners-up will get Taka three lakh.
The participating teams will get Taka five lakh each.
