Bangladesh born Engineer Tapon Mahamud Jony helped Rio Olympic Games 2016 to cover Modern Pentathlon and Rugby7 event.
He was one of the crucial broadcast crew of the world’s greatest event. Along with other 3 broadcast crew Peter from Canada, Gleb from Russia and Viessmann from Germany he was carrying Bangladeshi flag in the Technical Operations Centre control room.
Their main responsibility was to maintain and monitoring event Broadcast facilities to ensure 1 Billion people smooth viewing experience.
We spoked with Tapon about his experience, he mentioned it was one of his greatest work memories in life.
They used the world’s latest technology to deliver the best output on the screen. Hundreds of journalists and media personnel from various nations came to collect footage from the TOC team.
