Bangladesh booters practised amid high temperature at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday. At that time the temperature of Dhaka was 35 to 36 degree Celsius.
The Head Coach of Bangladesh Football team Jamie Day conducted the training session.
Bangladesh footballers took part in their practice session marking the upcoming Group-E matches of FIFA World Cup qualifiers, which is scheduled to be held at Doha, the capital city of Qatar. The temperature of Doha is high and Bangladeshi footballers have to play the rest of the matches against Afghanistan, India and Oman. So, Jamie Day and his boys participated in their practice session amid the high temperature.
The booters of Bangladesh working hard and they took part in the practice session under the sun.
Sumon Reza, a member of Bangladesh preliminary squad, said, ” Our hand and face became black due to sunshine. We are training hard amid the high temperature. We are working hard for a good result. So, we don’t mind for our suffering.”
He said, ” There are win, loss and tie in football matches. We shall try our level best to win all the matches. Specially we want to win against India even Oman. Our target is to win all the matches. We want to win at least a match. If we make a draw against Afghanistan it will be a good result for us.”
Bangladesh will take on Afghanistan on June 3, while the Red-and-Green out-fit will face India on June 7 and Bangladesh will meet Oman on June 15.
