World T20 warm-up match: Bangladesh beat UAE

Hosts Bangladesh registered an easy four-wicket victory over United Arab Emirates (UAE) in their World Twenty20 warm-up match at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah on Wednesday.
Chasing UAE total of 142 for the loss of seven wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, Bangladesh romped home making 146 for the loss of six wickets remaining seven balls.
Dashing opener Tamim Iqbal hit a superb 43 from 30 balls featuring six fours and a sixer while Mahmudullah Riyad remained undefeated with 29 from 18 balls hitting five boundaries.
Skipper Mushfiqur Rahim notched up a polished 27 off 20 balls with five fours.
AM Guruge of UAE bagged a pair of wickets at the cost of 25 runs while Khurram Khan, Amjad Javed, Kamran Shazad and Rohan Mustafa took one wicket each for 12, 22, 22 and 36 runs respectively.
Earlier, Khurram Khan hit a captain’s knock of 44. His 35-ball knock was laced with six boundaries.
Faizan Asif was the other batsman of UAE who shone with the willow making 31 from 22 balls including five fours and a six.
Amjad Ali, Shaiman Anwar added 19 runs each to the UAE total.
Farhad Reza of Bangladesh bagged a couple of wickets instead of 25 runs while Abdur Razzak, Rubel Hossain, Mahmudullah Riyad and Al-Amin Hossain picked up one wicket each for 15, 18, 19 and 25 runs respectively.
