The Group A match of the ICC World Cup Cricket 2015 between Bangladesh and Australia is uncertain. The game is scheduled to be held at Brisbane in Australia tomorrow from 9.30 am BST (Bangladesh Standard Time).
It has been raining since Wednesday at Brisbane. The 30 centimeter rain per hour with stormy wind has been blowing since Wednesday.
Hosts Australia could not take part at the practice session due to rain. Bangladesh Cricket team also reached Brisbane from Canberra on Thursday.
Curator of the venue of Brisbane Kevin Michael informed the Courier Mail that they were anxious about the Saturday’s match due to inclement weather. He said, “If the rain comes to an end, then the match will be staged.”
But the weather forecast said that the rain might increase on Saturday.
If the match will be abandoned Bangladesh will get profit against favorites Australia. Bangladesh will get one point.
Earlier, Bangladesh registered a resounding 105-run victory over Afghanistan in their first Group A match on February 18.
On the other hand, Australia posted a massive 111-run victory over England in their first Group A match on February 14.
