Bangladesh Army Red team emerged as the champions of the Victory Day Rugby Competition when they defeated Bangladesh Army Blue team by 12-0 points in the final at the Paltan Maidan on Friday. Bangladesh Army Blue team bacme runners up in the rugby meet.
After the final match, freedom fighter Dr Md Abdus Shahid distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest. General Secretary of Bangladesh Rugby Federation (BRF) Mousum Ali, Joint-Secretary of BRF Sayeed Ahmed and Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the Competition Din Islam were present at the time.
