Independence Day Volleyball: Bangladesh Army emerge champions

Bangladesh Army emerged the champions of the Walton Smart TV Independence Day Volleyball Tournament when they beat Bangladesh Navy by 3-0 sets in the final at the Dhaka Volleyball Stadium on Wednesday.
Bangladesh Navy became runners-up of the competition while Bangladesh Police finished third in the meet.
After the final match Managing Director of Impressive Group Mosharrof Hossain Dhali distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while First Senior Additional Director of RB Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn was with him as the special guest. Vice-President of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF) Mostafa Kamal and Joint-Secretary of BVF Advocate Fazle Rabbi Babul were present at the time.
A total of nine teams took part in the volleyball competition. They are: Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh Power Development Board, Bangladesh Air Force, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Fire service & Civil Defence, Bangladesh Ansar & VDP and Bangladesh Jail team.
