Bangladesh Army became the champions of the Quick City Independence Day Rugby Competition when they blanked Gazipur District Rugby team by 38-0 points in the final at the Physical Education College Ground in Mohammadpur on Saturday.
Gazipur District Rugby team finished the runners-up of the meet.
After the final match freedom fighter Md Hannan distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest. Vice-President of Bangladesh Rugby Federation (BRF) Abdullah Al Jahir Shawpon, General Secretary of BRF Mousum Ali and Joint-Secretary of the Federation Sayeed Ahmed were present at the time.
