Bangladesh A team lost both their openers as they finished the second day with 44 for 2 in reply to a Sri Lankan first innings total 449 for 8 on the second day of the first four-day match held on Wednesday at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
Tushar Imran with 12 and Mosaddek Hossain with 8 on the crease as the stumps were drawn for the day.
Charith Asalanka and Nisala Tharaka shared one Bangladesh wicket each conceding 10 and 13 runs respectively.
Earlier, Sri Lanka rode on Lahiru Thirimanna’s magnificent ton, declared their first innings at 449 for 8 after they resumed the second day with overnight score at 171 for 4.
Pacer Khaled was the pick of Bangladesh bowler as he grabbed four wickets conceding 92 runs. He was well supported by Abu Haider Rony who bagged two wickets giving away 69 runs.
