First three-dayer match: Bangladesh A take 59-run lead

Bangladesh A team took 59-run lead when they made 188 for the loss of three wickets in the second innings against Karnataka on the second day of the three-dayer match at Mysore in India on Wednesday.
Earlier, Karnataka piled up a healthy 287 in the first innings on the second day in reply to Bangladesh A teams first innings total of 158.
Karnataka resumed their first innings with the over-night score of 163 for the loss of six wickets.
SA Bhavane was on 55 and J Suchith was on 14 before the bails were drawn for the first day (Tuesday).
Later, SA Bhavane notched up a superb 88 from 175 balls featuring 13 fours and two sixes while J Suchith knocked a sedate 41 off 115 balls hitting five fours.
UB Patel hit a polished 40 from 60 balls including three sixes and three fours.
Shuvagata Hom Chowdhury and Saqlain Sajib got one wicket each on the second day.
Shuvagata Hom and Saqlain Sajib captured four wickets each at the cost of 45 and 85 runs respectively.
Besides, Jubair Hossain and Al-Amin Hossain took one wicket each for 44 and 47 runs respectively.
Bangladesh A team made a shaky start as they lost their opening batsman Rony Talukdar for just 15 runs.
Later, opener Anamul Haque and Mominul repaired the early damage contributing together 69 runs for the second wicket stand before Mominul Haque was trapped leg before wicket by UB Patel when Bangladesh A team’s score was 99 for the loss of two wickets.
After dismissal of Mominul Haque, Anamul Haque and Liton Kumar Das put on together 43 runs in the third wicket stand before Anamul Haque was caught by HS Sharath off UB Patel when the team’s total was 142 for the loss of three wickets.
Anamul Haque hit a splendid 89. His 87-ball innings was belted with five sixes and eight fours.
After departure of Anamul Haque, Liton Kumar Das and Soumya Sarkar contributed together 46 runs for the unbroken fourth wicket partnership.
Liton Kumar Das remained undefeated with 37. His 77-ball knock was decorated with five fours.
Soumya Sarkar remained unbeaten with 24. His 44-ball innings was laced with four fours.
UB Patel bagged a pair of wickets instead of 44 runs while J Suchith took one wicket for 45 runs.
