Bangladesh A team faced bating collapse in their first innings as they were allout for 219 in 71.5 overs in reply to a Sagicor High Performance Centre’s first innings total of 354 on the second day of four-day match held on Tuesday at the Kensington Oval, Bridgetown in Barbados, West Indies.
Skipper Nasir Hossain offered some resistance with a captaincy knock of 53 runs after the remaining batsmen failed to build any effective partnership losing wickets in regular intervals in the face of tight bowling attacks by the host bowlers.
Sheldon Cottrell and Devendra Bishoo were the pick of Sagicor bowlers taking three wickets each giving away 30 and 57 runs respectively.
In reply, Sagicor started their second innings in the afternoon and scored 24 for no loss in 16 overs at stumps, taking an overall 159 runs lead after the second day’s play.
Chadwick Walton and Chadwick Walton were on the crease with 16 and 8 runs as the stumps were drawn for the day.
