The founder and architect of independent Bangladesh, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s contribution to the history of the Bangali nation have become unique examples in our lives, said BUBT Vice-chancellor Prof Md. Abu Saleh.
“The young generations must know about Bangabandhu and War of Liberation to prepare them from now for building the Sonar Bangla as dreamt by Bangabandhu,” he said while speaking at a discussion meeting at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) permanent campus at Mirpur in the city.
The discussion meeting was organized on the occasion of 97th Birth Anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day-2016.
While delivering speech as the key speaker, Prof. Md. Abu Saleh highlighted Bangabandhu’s political wisdom, leadership qualities, human qualities and his great contribution to building sovereign Bangladesh.
BUBT Trustee Board Chairman AFM Sarwar Kamal presided over the discussion meeting, while Treasurer Prof Md. Enayet Hossain Miah, Dean of Arts and Humanities Faculty Prof. Syed Anwarul Haq, Proctor Prof Mian Lutfar Rahman and Chairman of the department of English Dr Md. Mohoshin Reza spoke. Finally Doa was conducted by the Controller of Examinations Prof AB Md. Badruddoza Mia for the departed souls of all martyrs of the Liberation War and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
